St. Patrick’s Day will never be the same. Life is not the same. I don’t want to dwell today. But I certainly need to process this day without her in it. My husband, boys, and myself took the day off from our responsibilities today. We are headed to Laguna. When my parents split, my mom, older brother, Chad and myself spent most weekends at Doheny. It was inexpensive and close by our new city. She could relax while Chad and I played in the waves. Every so often, her and I would share an Abba Zabba.
For today, I hope that Chad is making sure her day is a special one. She is also with her mom and her best friend (i’m guessing).
